What happens when I hit the Free plan’s limits?

A meeting already in progress always finishes. Amlin checks your hours when you start a meeting, never mid-call. Past the cap, new meeting transcription and Ask questions wait until your month resets (or you upgrade). Your notepad, your existing notes, and dictation keep working: dictation runs on your Mac and is never metered.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. “Manage billing” in the app opens your billing portal; cancelling keeps Pro until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

Where does my audio go?

Dictation runs entirely on your Mac. That audio never leaves the device. Meeting audio is streamed for live transcription and never stored by Amlin; only the text remains, as part of your notes. The full picture is in our privacy policy.

Does it work with Zoom, Meet, and Teams?

With all of them, and anything else that makes sound on your Mac. Amlin captures system audio at the operating-system level, so there’s no bot to invite and nothing for other participants to install.
